Sri Venkateswara University is a UGC recognized state university. Since its inception the university has laid emphasis on teaching, research and extension activities in different specializations. The range of subject departments, courses and research programmes undertaken and promoted during the last decades reflect the Sri Venkateswara Universitys commitment in promoting socially relevant and inter-disciplinary programmes. At present, the university has 58 departments offering 71 different PG and diploma courses of study.
