Rani Channamma University Belgavi Mysore is a new university established by the Government of Karnataka. This university was created by upgrading the former Kittur Rani Channamma Post Graduate center at Belgavi established by Karnatak University Dharwad in 1982. RCUB continues to persevere with its founding objective of providing higher educational opportunities to students of North Karnataka who are deprived of good educational grounding. The main campus of the university “Vidyasangama” is spread over 172 acres of picturesque land scape. At present, this UGC affiliated university offers nine post graduate courses in faculties of arts, science, education, social science, commerce and management. RCUB also offers M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes. Students from the university have also cleared the NET and SLET eligibility entrance tests at the national level.
