The APS University is the teaching cum affiliating university which is located in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. The university has its jurisdiction over 150 colleges in the districts such as Rewa, Shahdol, Satna, Singraulli, Sidhi, and Umariya. The university is established with the mission to generate and preserve the general knowledge and to achieve excellence in research and education. The vision of the Awadhesh Pratap Singh University is to become the premier institution. The university offers various UG, master and doctoral degree courses in the streams such as management, business economics, psychology, mathematical science, chemistry and a lot more.

The AwadheshPratap Singh University was set up 20 July 1968 and named after the Captain Awadhesh Pratap Singh. The university is located in the north of the Rewa city. It is spread over 246.20 acres of land. The main campus of the university is environment – friendly and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. As it is situated at the foothills of Vindhya’s, therefore, the university provides the cozy environment. The campus of the Awadhesh Pratap Singh University depicts the scene of the ancient ashrams.
