Rajendra Agricultural University is one of the 26 agricultural universities in India located near Pusa Bazaar, in Samastipur District, Bihar. This university comprises of five faculties of agriculture, veterinary & animal science, agricultural engineering, basic sciences, humanities & home sciences. The university offers six undergraduate degree programmes, thirty three post graduate programmes and eighteen Ph.D. programmes. It is also the only university to provide the an MBA in Agribusiness programme. Understanding the need and importance of a sound knowledge in agriculture RAU provides various extension services that aim at extending expertise from the laboratory to the field. Since its inception to this very day this university has been contributing to the field of agricultural education and research.
