Periyar University is a UGC recognized university located in the city of Salem of Tamilnadu. Named after famed social reformer Thanthai Periyar this university is accredited by NAAC. Nicknamed PU the university departments offers post graduate programs in faculties of science, arts, business management, computer application, business adminstration and education along with selected certificate programs. The affiliated colleges of the university offer under graduate and post graduate programs in faculties of arts, commerce, science, business management, computer application and education.
