The well – known horticultural university i.e. Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University is located in Hyderabad, Telangana State. This is one of the renowned universities of the state which offers several UG, PG and doctoral programs in the field of horticulture. This university is named in the memory of veteran freedom fighter named Sri Konda Laxman. It is interesting to know that Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University is the only horticultural university of the state and fourth horticultural university in the country.
The Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University was set up keep the importance of horticultural in mind. The headquarters of this university is located in the Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. The campus of the Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University is quite beautiful and offers the perfect environment for the research and study purpose. This university has two horticultural polytechnics and two horticultural colleges. The university is engaged in providing the required horticultural information to the farmers and entrepreneurs.

Admissions:
Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University Admission Procedure:
The SKLTSHU follows the admission criteria so as to offer admission to the eligible students. Different admission procedure is prescribed for the enrollment in the different courses.
For Master of Science courses:
The university organizes an entrance examination for the admission in these offered courses. The entrance test is of 200 marks. 120 minutes will be granted to solve the examination. Selection of the student shall be based on the performance of the student in the entrance examination and also in the qualifying examination. The merit list will be prepared by considering 60% marks from the entrance test and 40% marks from the previous qualifying examination.

The latest notification regarding the admission is released by the Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University. The last date to submit the application form for the entrance examination is 28.07.2016 by 4:00 pm. The last date to submit the application with late fee is 4.08.2016.
