The Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology is one of the premier technical universities in the state which is located in Sambalpur, Odisha. The university is set up with the mission to create the services opportunities for the betterment of the society. The vision of the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology is to emerge as an internationally acclaimed technical university. The university is constantly offering the best quality education to the student while preserving the traditional values. The Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology was set up through the Orissa Act 9 by transforming the University college of engineering into the unitary university. The Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology came into action from 1 July 2009. The university is named after the great freedom fighter Veer Surendra Sai. The university occupies approximately 300 acres of prime land in Burla. Although having the modern facilities and infrastructure, the university constantly reconstructs itself and renovates its physical infrastructure from time to time. The university is situated in the beautiful surrounding of river, lakes, and mountains.

Admissions:
Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology Admission Procedure:-
The Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology imparts admission to the eligible and outstanding candidates. Selection is done only on the basis of the admission procedure which is designed by the official authority.
For B.Tech:
Admission will be given through the merit list published by the JEE Main. The candidate should qualify the JEE Main in order to take admission in the offered courses in the university.
For admission in the M.Phill Courses:
Enrollment in these courses will be done on the basis of the written test conducted by the university. The written test comprises of 50 MCQs. The students should qualify the test in order to take the admission.
