Individuals wishing to apply for Wesleyan University Connecticut Admission are required to submit  Wesleyan Common Application Member Questions along with common application form online. The Wesleyan Writing Suppliment is optional but recommended and may be filed before application and the deadline for your admission.

Students may apply to Wesleyan as either first-year students or transfer students.  First-year students may select from either the Regular Decision program or one of the two Early Decision programs.  Transfer students may apply for Fall Transfer or Spring Transfer.

Recommended Preparation

The Admission Committee encourages students to take a most challenging program of courses, and recommends that it include at a minimum:

4 years each of English and History/Social Science
A single Foreign Language through the fourth year
3 laboratory sciences including Biology, Chemistry and Physics

Wesleyan University Connecticut campus is spread over 316 acres of land located in middle town Conneticut overlooking the Connecticut river. Wesleyan University Connecticut Infrastructure is well planned and offers all possible need and facilities.

The distinctive features of the campus include Olin Memorial Library; Russell House, a National Historic Landmark; the six-story Exley Science Center; Andrus Public Affairs Center; the Van Vleck Observatory; the Center for Film Studies; the Freeman Athletic Center with a 50-meter swimming pool, the Spurrier-Snyder Rink for skating activities, the 1,200-seat Silloway Gymnasium, the 7,500-square-foot Andersen Fitness Center, and the Rosenbaum Squash Center with eight courts.

The 11-building Center for the Arts complex; Davison Art Center (National Historic Landmark); Fayerweather with Beckham Hall; the Usdan University Center; 41 Wyllys Avenue (formerly the Squash Buildling and now housing the Career Center, the College of Letters, and the art history department); and the Allbritton Center (housing the Allbritton Center for the Study of Public Life, the Center for Community Partnerships, and the Patricelli Center for Social Entrepreneurship).

Wesleyan University Connecticut Student Life and Activities:-

Freshman students are required to live on-campus along with a number of students who live in campus residence halls, apartments and houses. There are more than 200 student organizations that form an active part of Wesleyan University Connecticut Student Life and these organizations cover a range of interests from martial arts, outdoor activities, community tutoring, cappella singing, literary magazines, theater and dance troupes, WESU-radio, political organizations, ethnic interest and support groups. New groups are being constantly formed in response to various student interests.

Wesleyan is a member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (an 11-member league in NCAA Division III). The university sports 29 varsity teams, 16 club sport teams and 8 intramural teams.
