Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU) is a UGC recognized private university. Founded by the  Subharti K.K.B. Charitable Trust, Meerut this university has rendered commendable service in the field of education, welfare and social welfare in the region. At present this university offers graduate and post graduate courses of study in faculties of medical sciences, dental science, nursing, paramedical sciences, pharmacy, engineering, law and arts & social sciences. The application forms for merit based admission and SUET can be obtained by paying an application fee of a sum of Rs. 500 cash or DD in favour of 'Swami Vivekanand Subharti University' payable at Meerut, from the office of the university or from the places advertised through the newspapers or shown in the university website. The application form can also be obtained by post by paying an additional amount of Rs. 50 as postage. Information brochure is supplied free along with the application form.
