The Selection Procedure of SSC Junior Engineer 2022 will depend on Paper-I and Paper-II. It is organized only for those candidates who have qualified both SSC Junior Engineer 2022 exams. With the declaration of the SSC Junior Engineer result, the SSC will release their cutoff score list and based on these scores the students will be shortlisted for the final selection process.

• The Staff Selection Commission recruits candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer in various governmental departments.
• The posts to be offered by SSC under Participating organizations i.e. Central Water Commission, CPWD, Department of Post and MES are:
JE (Electrical)
JE (Mechanical)
JE (Civil)
JE (Quantity Surveying and Contract)
JE (Electrical and Mechanical)
Selection Procedure stages:-
Stage I: Paper-I (Computer Based Exam)
Stage II: Paper-II (Pen and Paper Based Exam)
Detailed Description:-
Stage I: Paper-I (Computer Based Exam)
• The students have to appear in the Paper-I entrance exam which will be Computer Based Exam.
• The
SSC JE Paper-I will be objective type test comprising of 200 marks.
The subjects for Paper-I will contain:
General Awareness
• Reasoning and General Intelligence
General Engineering- Part-A: (Civil and Structural)/ Part-B: (Electrical)/ Part-C: (Mechanical)
• Then Candidates must qualify the Paper-I exam by obtaining the minimum cut-off declared by the official authorities.
• Then the applicants will be shortlisted and will be called for the Paper-II exam.
Step 2: Paper-II (Pen and Paper Based Exam)
• As per SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment Procedure 2022, the SSC will later notify the candidates regarding the dates of Paper-II exam.
• The SSC JE Paper-II will be conventional type test comprising of 300 marks.
• The subjects for Paper-II will consist of:
General Engineering (Civil & Structural) - Part-A
General Engineering (Electrical) - Part- B
General Engineering (Mechanical) -Part-C
• Applicants can choose any of them as per the posts they have applied for.
• Those who clear Paper-II exam will get shortlisted for final selection.
Final Selection:-
• The final selection of the students will be done on the basis of marks secured by them in Paper-I and Paper-II examination.
• Also, the preferences made by the candidates regarding posts will also be given due importance
• The final allotment will be made on the basis of merit to the user departments.
