The M.G. Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya or Mahatma Gandhi Gramodaya Vishwavidalaya is located in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. It is the first rural university in the Chitrakoot region. The university is set up with the mission to create and develop the human resource for the development of the rural people. Basically, the M.G. Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya aims at providing the higher education to the rural people for the upliftment of the society. The M.G. Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya works on the ideology of the father of the nation i.e. Mahatma Gandhi. This university is imparting the higher education to take up the emerging challenges of the rural people.

The M.G. Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya was set up on 12 February 1991 through the Madhya Pradesh government. The university is basically located in Chitrakoot, Satna, Madhya Pradesh. It is situated on the bank of the Mandakni River near Sphatikshila.   The main aim of the university is to disseminate the appropriate technology. The university offers a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the streams such as business management, engineering, arts, science and environment.

Admissions:

M G Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya Admission Procedure:-

 
Admission to the various courses is provided through the admission procedure which is prescribed by the university. In order to provide enrollment, the university hosts an entrance examination for the various courses. The student should appear and qualify the entrance examination in order to take the admission in the desired courses. The university will then release the merit list which includes the names and details of the selected students. It should be remembered that the admission in the B.Tech Agriculture engineering will be done through the PAT exam and counseling at the university.
