Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology is a UGC recognized university for agriculture research and education in India. Named after indian freedom fighter Chandra Shekar Azad this university is known for its faculties of Agriculture, Home Science and Agricultural Engineering and Technology. Apart from its basic goal of education and research this university also caters to the needs of the farming community in the 29 districts of the state of Uttar Pradesh. The extensive research efforts coupled with relevant training to farmers and officials in new agricultural technologies give a true social identity to CSAUA&T. Admission to undergraduate programmes at the university is done through SEE-UPTECH (State Entrance Examination).
