Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun is a UGC recognized state university. An affiliating university UTU consists of three constituent colleges and 118 affiliated colleges. UTU offers undergraduate programs (B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharma, BHMCT, LLB) and post graduate degree programs (M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Pharma). Uttarkhand State Entrance Exam (UKSEE) test score is used for admission to these courses of study while candidates to MBA course are admitted on basis of  MBA Entrance Exam UK PGEE. The university's part-time Ph.D. programs are designed for teachers and scientists wishing to engage in new areas of research.
