Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT) is among the premier technological institutes in Tumkur in the state of Karnataka. It is one of the 130+ educational institutions run by the Sri Siddaganga Educational Society. The institute was ertablished in the year 1963 in order to impart world class technical education to the local students of Tumkur.

Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT), Tumkur offers four years full time programs of Bachelor of Technology with special focus on several branches of engineering such as Industrial Bio-technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. It also impart five years full time program of B.Arch through its Architect program.
