Siddhartha Medical and Dental College is one of the flagship colleges of Sri Siddharth Education Society, Tumkur. The college was established in the year 1992 in order to equip students with some latest skills and techniques that are often required in the field of dentistry. In a short span of less than 20 years, the college has gained a wide recognition across the country for its excellent pedagogy. Siddhartha Medical and Dental College is accredited to the Dental Council of India.

The College offers a wide range of dental courses.  Undergraduate course includes Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), which is a five years full time course. Every year, the college accepts 20 students for the course. Siddhartha Medical and Dental College also provides excellent facilities for Postgraduate course in Dentistry i.e. MDS in disciplines like Oral Surgery and Periodontics.  All the dental programs are accredited to the Dental Council of India.


Admissions:

Following are the minimum requirements for admission to Medical / Dental PG Degree and Diploma courses:

The candidate should have studied and passed the courses leading to the award of MBBS/BDS Degrees in colleges recognized by Medical Council/Dental Council of India.

The candidate should have completed compulsory rotating internship.

The college is located in Tumkur district of Karnataka. The distance between Bangalore & Tumkur is 76 km. Tumkur is situated on Bangalore-Honnavar NH-4. Siddhartha Medical and Dental College is renowned for its excellent and contemporary facilities.
