Founded in the year 2016, School of Architecture, HMS Institute of Technology with an aim of imparting both artistic and architectural skills of international standards and enable the students to face the growing demand for skill in the field of Architecture. College offers five years full time undergraduate program to their children and is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

Admissions for Architecture course is administered by joint Admission Committee for Professional Courses.
 
Candidates, who have qualified an aptitude test in Architecture and have secured 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects, shall be eligible for admission to B.Arch.
