Visvesvaraya Technological University VTU is  UGC recognized affiliating university situated in Belgaum, Karnataka. Named after the first engineer to receive the bharatratna Sir Visvesvaraya this university has three regional centers located in Bangalore, Belgaum and Mysore respectively. VTU is one of the largest of universities in India with 206 affiliated colleges. This university encompasses various technical and management fields which include 30 undergraduate and 71 post graduate courses of study. Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Business Administration (M.B.A), Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) course is most preferred by students.
