Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education is a UGC recognized deemed university affiliated to the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. Started with the objective of  providing proper training to interested students in the field of sports Lakshmibhai National Institute of Physical Education offers graduate and post graduate courses of study in various faculties of physical education. A unique feature of this university's is its Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) program in Physical Education. Apart from these course LNIPE also offers various certificate courses on physical fitness, adventure sports, yoga and alternate theraphy. This university also has a seperate research block that houses laboratories with mordern sophisticated and indengenious equipment.  Through its services this university continues to strive forward its objective of providing quality teaching and learning in cognitive, physcho-motor and affective domains in physical education and sports.
