Veer Kunwar Singh University named after legendary freedom fighter Veer Kunwar Singh is a UGC recognized public university located in the regional city of Arrah in the state of Bihar. Established by the Bihar University Act 1976 this university operates through 20 post graduate departments of study and affiliates 17 constituent degree colleges, three law colleges and 37 affiliated degree colleges. This university conducts research and teaching programs in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Commerce, History, Economics and Sociology.
