The University of Mumbai is one first of three state universities to be established in India. Known as UoM and more as MU, Mumbai University is undoubtedly one of the best universities in India. Ranked as one of the best universities among emerging economies MU strives on strong academic heritage coupled with a dedication for excellence. Over the years this university has given its best by ably shouldering the ever growing responsibility of specialization and opportunities for higher learning. University of Mumbai has several hundred colleges offering undergraduate and post graduate courses of study in faculties of arts, commerce, science, engineering, management and law. Most of the books available at JNL are on basic sciences, social sciences and behavioral sciences.
