Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University named after freedom fighter and social activist Swami Ramanand Teerth is a UGC recognized government university. The main campus of this university is situated 20 kms north of Nanded township with a sub-campus in Latur. Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University affiliates arts, commerce, engineering, education, law, finance, management, fine arts, pharmacy and computer studies colleges in the districts of Nanded, Latur, Parbhani, and Hingoli.
