Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning also known as Shri Sathya Sai University is a UGC recognized deemed university. Founded by Sri Sathya Sai Baba this university is modelled on gurukula system of education wherein education is provided free to students from kindergarten to post graduation. The university's Prashanti Nilayam college is the first college in the country to be accredited with a NAAC 'A++' grade.
