The premier university of India i.e. Savitribai Phule Pune University is located in the Pune, Maharashtra. The university houses about 46 academic departments. There are around 307 recognized research institutes and 612 affiliated colleges under the Savitribai Phule Pune University. It is one of the finest and most popular educational centers. This university is known as the Oxford of the east. The mission of the university is to become the vibrant knowledge center and center of excellence in research, extension activities and teaching.
The Savitribai Phule Pune University was established on 10 February 1949 under the Poona University act. The university is spread over the 411 acres of land and has an exceptionally beautiful and picturesque campus. The university campus is covered with a large number of age – old trees which provide shade and beauty. Admissions:
Savitribai Phule Pune University Admission Procedure:-
The Savitribai Phule Pune University offers admission to the only eligible and deserving candidates. The university follows an admission procedure at the time of offering admission to the students. For some of the courses, the university conducts an entrance examination. Separate admission procedure is followed for providing admission in different courses.
For M.Sc (Chemistry):
The university hosts an entrance examination in order to impart enrollment in the offered courses.
For MA (Geography):
Admission to the MA courses will be made strictly through the entrance test conducted by the university.
