Dr. Sarvepali Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University is first ayurvedic university in the state or Rajasthan and the second of its kind in the country. With 44 colleges and institutions under its fold Rajasthan Ayurved university offers bachelors programs in faculties of ayurvedic medicine & surgery, homeopathic medicine & surgery, unani medicine & surgery, naturopathy and yogic science. This university also offers MD programs in Ayurved and Homeopathy along with certificate courses in panch karma and ksharsutra. RAU also offers a research degree in Ayurveda. Admission to these courses is done through national/state level entrance test. RAU has its own constituent ayurved college, constituent DAN & P training center and herbal farming center. The central library is home to a large and growing collection of titles in streams of  Homoeopathy, Unani, Siddha , Yoga & Naturopathy, Sanskrit & Modern Medicine. More than 50 journals and periodicals are regularly available at the central university.
