Karunya University formerly known as Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS) is a residential evangelical christian deemed university located in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. Founded by late D. G. S. Dhinakaran, his son Paul Dhinakaran founders of the Jesus Calls Ministeries in India this university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). This university offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Master of Technology (M.Tech) courses in various specializations. The university conducts its own entrance test for B.Tech Admission. Other post graduate courses offered by the university include MBA, MCA and M.Sc, MA in English and MA (Development Management.
