The Institute of Advanced Studies and Education is a deemed university formerly sponsored by a government, non-profit making registered society of Gandhi Vidya Mandir (GVM). Started as a  Basic Teacher's Training College in 1953 the university came into being in 1993 under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Education. IASE Distance Education programs were started in 2003 with the objective of bringing education to those unable to benefit from regular education through flexible means and at affordable costs. The university offers post graduate and certificate programmes in faculties of Education, IT & Management, Engineering, Paramedical, Bio-Technology, Science & Humanities through distance mode. IASE has grown from strength to strength over the last six decade on account of its uncomprising dedication to quality education.

Admission to M.Ed. Program :
Students who wish to get admission at IASE University for M.Ed Program have to appear for an entrance exam which will be conducted by a state government agency.

Admission to M. Phil Program :
Students who wish to get admission at IASE University for M.Phil Program have to appear for an entrance exam which will be conducted by the university itself.

Admission to Bachelor in Engineering :
Admission to students will be made on the basis of merit/ entrance examinations, wherever necessary.
