Application Requirements for online application is as follows:

01. Transcripts. Don't submit your transcripts to UC at this point, but refer to them as you fill out the application to ensure the information you enter is accurate

02. Test scores. If you're a freshman or sophomore applicant, you'll have to include your scores from the ACT Plus Writing or the SAT Reasoning Test. (If you're applying for fall, be sure to complete these tests by December.) All applicants should report scores for any SAT Subject Tests, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, TOEFL or IELTS exams they have taken.

03. Annual income (your parents' if you're a dependent; your income if you're independent.) This is optional unless you're applying for an application fee waiver or for the Educational Opportunity Program.

04. Social Security number, if you have one. The university uses  this to match your application to things like your test score report, final transcript(s) and, if you're applying for financial aid, your Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

05. Citizenship status. You must enter your country of citizenship (or "No Selection"). If your country of citizenship is outside the United States, you'll need to provide your immigration status and your visa type.

When is the right time to apply?

Most departments and schools have deadlines in November and early December for the following Fall term (nearly a year in advance).

How to apply?

The UCLA application for graduate admission should be used to apply for all programs with the exception of Medicine, Law, Dentistry, and MBA and MFE programs in the Anderson Graduate School of Management, which have separate admission application processes.

Requirements for International Applicants

Official records from each academic institution attended to the major department to which they are applying.

Official records are defined as original documents issued by the institution -- not photocopies -- which bear the actual signature of the Registrar and the seal of the issuing institution. If you have attended more than one institution, separate official records should be submitted by each institution.

If an academic record cannot be replaced, be sure to obtain a properly certified copy; keep the original for yourself. Never send a document to UCLA that cannot be replaced, as submitted records become the property of the University and cannot be returned.

Persons holding the following degrees are not eligible to apply for graduate admission: a three-year ordinary pass degree, a professional diploma in accounting, business, librarianship, social work, physical education, health education and so on, or a four-year degree, diploma or higher certificate from a technical, vocational or postsecondary specialized school.

Persons holding membership in professional associations such as Institutes of Chartered Accountants or Institutes of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators are not qualified for graduate standing unless they also hold recognized university-level degrees or titles.

University of California, Los Angeles California Infrastructure is an confluence of  romanesque revival style and modern architecture.In order to accommodate UCLA's rapidly growing student population, multiple construction and renovation projects are in progress, including expansions of the life sciences and engineering research complexes. This continuous construction gives UCLA the on-campus nickname of "Under Construction Like Always" However the campus provides all the necessary need and facilities from  expansive medical complex, to more than 290 research centers, to libraries, museums, film and music archives, and art galleries. The 10 libraries on campus feature study halls, research pods, reading lounges, and more often serving as second homes to our students. The musuems of ULCA are a celebration of history and diversity.

UCLA offers classical orchestras, intramural sports, and over 800 student organizations. The university is home to 8 national and local Greek-letter organizations, which collectively constitute the largest membership-based and multi-faceted community on campus. Fraternity and sorority members represent 15% of the student population and ULCA is also known for its various student capellas.  The university is also known for its various cultural organizations.

The university has many traditions and annual events involving students, community, or the city. The school hosts events that usually require participation from more than just the student body, and competitions can occasionally involve celebrity judges and performers.

The Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA) is the official student government and student-led enterprises at UCLA. ASUCLA has four major components: the Undergraduate Students Association, the Graduate Students Association, Student Media, and services & enterprises. The university provides housing to its students. Most undergraduate students are housed in 14 complexes on the western side of campus, referred to by students as "The Hill".
