If you're applying to be a full-time student at Waterloo, you'll apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC).
The OUAC makes the application process easier because you can use one application to apply to multiple programs or Ontario universities.
Which application should you use?
Ontario high school students: OUAC 101 application
International (visa) students: OUAC 105F application
All other students:OUAC 105D application
Exceptions:-
For part-time studies (2 courses or less per term), full-time online learning, post-degree/ non-degree, or letter of permission
Apply through the Centre for Extended Learning
If you have previously attended Waterloo and are applying for full-time studies.
Application for Undergraduate Re-Admission Form
Be sure to apply by the application deadline for the term/program you wish to be admitted to.
Within 2 weeks of receiving your application information from the OUAC, we’ll send you an email with details about next steps in the admissions process. It's a good idea to add myapplication@uwaterloo.ca to your contacts list to make sure you receive our emails.
Applying to co-op programs
If you're interested in a co-op program, you must check the co-op box on your OUAC application.If you apply to a co-op program that is also offered as a regular program and you're not admitted to co-op, you'll automatically be considered for the regular program if spaces are available.Both the co-op and regular systems of study are available to all students regardless of citizenship.
Applying to Engineering programs
On your application, you may apply to Architecture and/or only one Engineering program, including Software Engineering.
To apply to additional Engineering programs at Waterloo, you can use the Admission Information Form (AIF) once you've applied. You'll receive instructions for completing your AIF after you've applied to Waterloo.
Submitting documents
All official documents, including transcripts and English language test results, must be sent directly to our Registrar's Office by your school, issuing institution, or testing authority. Learn more about sending your marks.

University of Waterloo Post Graduate Admission:
The application process at Waterloo is managed electronically. You are required to complete Waterloo's online application
•Review the application document checklist to be sure you have all the information and documentation required for the application process.
•Complete your online application and pay the non-refundable application fee of $100 Canadian per program.
•The online application is processed through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) and requires 1 - 2 business days for OUAC to provide Waterloo with your application information.
•After your online application has been received by Waterloo, an account will be created for you in Quest, the university's student information system.
•An email with instructions on how to upload your documents, in Quest will be send
•Once you have uploaded the required documents your file will be reviewed by the department.

University of Waterloo Infrastructure
University of Waterloo Infrastructure:-
University of Waterloo Infrastructure is divided into four campuses.
University of Waterloo, main campus: The campus of the university spread over 400 hectares of land is dubbed as a leading Canadian technological hub. The University of Waterloo’s main campus is home to advanced research in a variety of fields, including health, engineering, mathematics, psychology, quantum information, nanotechnology and environmental studies.
University of Waterloo, School of Architecture: The School of Architecture at Waterloo offers a fully co-operative professional program, and has been rated the greenest architecture curriculum in Canada.
University of Waterloo Health Sciences Campus and School of Pharmacy:The School of Pharmacy is the anchor institution for the Health Sciences Campus of the University of Waterloo. The campus is also home to the regional program of McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Medicine as well as a family health team.
University of Waterloo, Stratford Campus: Focused on education in digital arts and media, the Stratford campus is a collaborative, strategic partnership between the City of Stratford and the University of Waterloo, bringing students, leading researchers, businesses and entrepreneurs together to create, examine and commercialize opportunities in the digital media space.
Libraries: The university has four libraries housing more than 1.4 million books, as well as electronic resources including e-books, serial titles and databases.Three of the libraries are located on campus: the Dana Porter Library, housing material relating to arts, humanities and social science, the Davis Centre Library, housing material for engineering, mathematics and science, and the Witer Learning Resource Centre, housing material for the School of Optometry and Vision Science. The fourth library, the Musagetes Architecture Library, is located in Cambridge, alongside the university's School of Architecture.
Student Residences: The university has seven student residences: the Minota Hagey Residence, UW Place, Ron Eydt Village, Village 1, Mackenzie King Village, Columbia Lake North and South. Students are also allowed to apply to the residences of the university's affiliated colleges. The largest residential village at the university is UW Place,while the smallest residence is the Minota Hagey Residence.The newest residence at the university is the Mackenzie King Village.
University of Waterloo Faculty:-
University of Waterloo Faculty consists of academicians, subject scholars and researchers. Several faculty members and students have also gained local and national prominence in government. It must also be noted that a significant number of Waterloo's faculty and students have gained prominence in the field of computing sciences.
University of Waterloo Student Life and Activities:-
The university's two main student unions are the Federation of Students for all undergraduate students, and the Graduate Student Association for graduate students. The Federation of Students was created in 1967. It operates seven businesses and eight student services, and encompasses nearly 200 clubs. The federation also oversees the university's Orientation Week, Welcome Week and other special events and concerts held on campus. The organisations and clubs accredited by the Federation of Students cover a wide range of interests including academics, culture, religion, social issues, and recreation.The university administration and student union does not recognize fraternities and student unions.
The official newspaper of the University of Waterloo Waterloo is the "Imprint." The University also operates CKMS-FM, now known as SoundFM which is the university radio station.
