The next step is to apply online.Candidates wishing to apply for admission are first required to create a BC account and then apply. Once you register yourself your receive your ID and password via e-mail. This will help you to apply for admission to the undergraduate course of your choice.

What is an BC Account:

Apply BC is a centralized, online service used to apply for admission to universities, colleges and institutes in British Columbia, Canada. You must create an ApplyBC account to apply. This account allows you to:

a)apply to an institution,
b)finish an incomplete application,
c)apply to additional institutions in B.C.

Your Personal Information, Contact Information and Academic History are saved to make additional applications easier.

For questions about application status, transcripts and supporting documents, or changes to a submitted application, please contact the admissions office of the institution you've applied to.

An application fee of $ 75 dollars is also to be submitted with your application. Payment of application fee can be done through Visa or Master Card.

Simon Fraser Postgraduate admission:

You can apply to both Specialty (Professional and Executive) Programs and Research-based post graduate programs at the SFU.

Most specialty professional programs such as the Executive MBA or many Education master's programs are based on course work, projects and/or examinations and do not require you to have a senior supervisor.

If you're planning to apply to a research-based graduate program, we recommend that you research your target program and contact a potential supervisor before you begin the application process.

Application Documents for Admission:

The departmental admissions committees and prospective supervisors look very carefully at:

• Your academic performance in previous degrees
• Your research productivity at a level appropriate for your level of training (eg.  bachelor-level research production for a student who has completed a bachelor's degree)
•Your three (3) letters of recommendation to graduate programs from appropriate individuals (tenure track faculty members are ideal for these letters)
•If appropriate, letters from non-tenure-track supervisors, who themselves have a PhD, to whom you reported directly to while working in industry or on a co-op
•If English is not your primary language, your test results on the TOEFL or IELTS language proficiency examinations.
•Some departments recommend or require standardized tests such as the GRE or GMAT. Please check the department's website before you apply.

Simon Fraser University Burnaby Infrastructure:-

Simon Fraser University has three campuses, each located in different parts of Greater Vancouver. SFU's main campus is located in Burnaby, atop Burnaby Mountain. Two satellite campuses are located in Vancouver's Downtown at Harbour Centre, and in Surrey.

Burnaby Mountain Campus: The Burnbay Mountain campus is located atop Burnaby Mountain. All major departments of the university are housed on campus. This campus is equipped with all the needed facilities for study, research and recreation and is known for its "enduring excellence of nationally significant architecture." The campus has received various awards for its outstanding and breath taking architecture.

Libraries/Archives/Musuems and Galleries: The SFU Burnaby Campus has a single library called the W. A. C. Bennett Library which holds over 2 million published books, and 6000 print subscriptions. Along with the UniverCity development agreement, residents of UniverCity are also allowed to borrow books from the library. SFU also has a Museum of Archeology and Ethnology, which holds many exhibits on lease from the Royal British Columbia Museum in Victoria

Student Residences: The campus provides residence to approximately 1700 SFU and FIC students in six different locations. These are all located on the western side of the campus.

The Towers (officially opened in fall of 2004) are three dormitory-style buildings. One of the Towers features a 14-room hotel called "The Simon Hotel".
McTaggart-Cowan Hall (built in 1985), traditional-style dormitory building.
Shell House (built in 1967), traditional-style dormitory building.
The Townhouse Complex (built in 1993), are 3-level townhouse units accommodating up to 4 students per unit. There are a total of 99 units.
Hamilton Hall (built in 1993 and renovated in 2009), is a studio-style building for graduate students.
Louis Riel House (built in 1969) is an apartment-style building (unfurnished) used for family and graduate housing.

UniverCity is an urban community located on top of Burnaby Mountain, adjacent to Simon Fraser University. It has won several awards for sustainable planning and development

Simon Fraser University Burnaby Faculty:-

At present there are about 950 members in Simon Fraser University Burnaby Faculty, these includes academicians, researchers and subject scholars. SFU faculty have won 43 fellowships to the Royal Society of Canada and one Pulitzer Prize.

Simon Fraser University Burnaby Student Life and Activities:-

Greek Organizations, Sports and  Student media form an important part of Simon Fraser University Burnaby Student Life and Activities. Greek Organization consists of three fraternities, two sororities, two co-educational professional fraternities. The main student newspaper on campus, "The Peak" has been in circulation since the foundation of the university.  CJSF-FM is the official radio of the university. The Simon Fraser Student Society provides funding for almost 100 clubs.

The university varsity teams are called Simon Frazer Clan and their mascot is the scottish terrier  McFogg the Dog. SFU is known for its strong rivarly between the University of British Columbia.The Clan competes in Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) and the U.S. National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA). The university participates in a total of 15 varsity sports.

In addition to this SFU students have also represented Canada at the Olympic Games.
