Shri S.Nijalingappa Institute of Dental Sciences was established in the year 1986, under the banner of Gulbarga University. The college is considered to be one of the best dental institutes in the state of Karnataka that offers excellent job oriented dental courses. Initially, the college was under the affiliation of Gulbarga University, later it was brought into affiliation with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore.

Shri S.Nijalingappa Institute of Dental Sciences offers Bachelor of Dental Surgery, which is a five years full time program. The course also includes one year internship program, wherein the aspirants are trained for achieving some quality practical knowledge in the field of dentistry. It also stresses on Master level course in Dentistry.


Admissions:

BDS Course

50% of seats are reserved for the merit quota and the same will be filled by the Government of Karnataka from among the students appearing for the Common Entrance Test (C.E.T.), being held in April/May of each year.50% of the seats are earmarked to be filled by the management among the students appearing for the UG COMED-K Entrance Test.

Age Requirement

The candidate shall have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete this age on 31st December of the year in which he/she seeks admission.
