Loyola Institute of Business Administration is a business school in the capital city of Tamil Nadu i.e. Chennai. It was established in the year 1979, so, one can say, it is one of the premier business institutes in Chennai. It maintained and regulated by Loyola College society. The college is not affiliated to any University as it is an autonomous institution. One of the most striking features of this college is that it has secured 9th rank among the top 50 business schools in India of the year 2009.

Being an independent business school, it offers a full-time MBA (PGDBM) program (2 years), part-time MBA (PGDBM) program (3 years) and various executive diploma courses. Along with these programs, it also imparts PhD courses in affiliation with the University of Madras.

Admissions:

Eligibility :-

The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university (AIU), with a consistent record of first class (minimum 60% marks) in Std X, Std XII and graduation. Those appearing for their final year examination can also apply provided they produce a course certificate by the specified date.

Procedure :-
Register for online Xavier’s Aptitude Test (XAT) or Common Admission Test (CAT). Application must be made in the prescribed form. The completed application form should reach us on or before the last date as specified. The application form is available at The Admissions Office, LIBA, on payment of the prescribed fees either by way of cash or Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘LIBA’ payable at Chennai.
Candidates selected for admission to the programme will be notified through post and the list will also be displayed on the LIBA notice board.
