Institute of Management Technology (IMT) - Ghaziabad, was established in 1980 by well-known industrialist Shri. Mahendra Nath with Dr. C. B. Gupta. IMT is known for providing quality and continuously updated knowledge of business management as it always remains in touch with national and international corporate world. It have been recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India
The institute offer 2 years full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with the special focus on different branches such as  in finance, operations, marketing, International business, information management and Human Resource. It also provides three year part time MBA programme and Management Development Programme for Executives (EMP). IMT has also stressed on research by providing Doctoral level programme in Management (Ph.D).

Admissions:

Applicants for PGDM programmes must have a minimum three-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks in any discipline. Applicants who are appearing for the final-year degree examination can also apply.
Applicants for PGDM (Executive) must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline, at least 50 per cent marks and a minimum five years work experience after graduation as of 30th June 2013. For applicants who want to apply for PGDM (Executive) on the basis of IMT Entrance Test, Admissions Notification will be released in Jan 2013.
To apply for IMT Ghaziabad applicants must be registered for CAT 2012 or XAT 2013 or have taken the GMAT 1st January 2010 onwards.
To apply for IMT Nagpur and Hyderabad applicants must be registered for CAT 2012 or XAT 2013 or CMAT 2013 or have taken the GMAT 1st January 2010 onwards.
Deadline for applying online and receiving online payment or DD/IMS/Career Launcher/TIME receipt is December 10, 2012.



Facilities:

The institute is located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is a fully 14.7 acre fully residential campus that has many centres of excellence. It has been equipped with the entire modern infrastructure. The campus has a football ground, a badminton and tennis court, a floodlit volleyball court, a floodlit basketball court, a floodlit tennis court, jogging tracks and a multipurpose gymnasium are some of the key recreational features of the campus. There are 10 hostels for those students who come from distant area. The Institute has highly qualified and experienced teachers with reputation in their areas of specialization. It has sufficient books and periodicals in the library.
