Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Ghaziabad was established in 1990 by a private group. IMS is known for providing quality and continuously updated knowledge of business management as it always remains in touch with national and international corporate world. It has been recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India
The institute offer 2 years full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with the special focus on different branches such as  in finance, operations, marketing, International business, information management and Human Resource.


Admissions:

IMS uses CAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT for short listing candidates for all the above programmes.
IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
Apply to IMS by filling in a separate application form for each programme.
Foreign/NRI applicants can apply by submitting valid GMAT scores. NRI applicants residing in India will have to appear in CAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT.
Final Selection will be based on the performance in CAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT, group discussion/ simulation exercises, personal interview and some other parameters.
Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor's degree (or equivalent examination) can also apply subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 30th October 2013.



Facilities:

The institute is located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is a fully 14.7 acre fully residential campus that has many centres of excellence. It has been equipped with the entire modern infrastructure. The campus has a football ground, a badminton and tennis court, a floodlit volleyball court, a floodlit basketball court, a floodlit tennis court, jogging tracks and a multipurpose gymnasium are some of the key recreational features of the campus. There are 10 hostels for those students who come from distant area. The Institute has highly qualified and experienced teachers with reputation in their areas of specialization. It has sufficient books and periodicals in the library.
