GMAT or Graduate Management Aptitude Admission Test is a universally accepted entrance test that is conducted for those students, who want to get accepted to World’s competitive business schools for the courses of MBA, Master of Accountancy and Master of Finance programs. Currently, 1,500 universities and institutions use GMAT’s score for selecting the bunch of talent to their first year management programmes. The exam usually tests candidate’s aptitude in three broad areas i.e. Verbal, Mathematical and Analytical writing skill.
 
The exam provides great flexibility, where candidate can choose his/her own date and time for taking GMAT.  In India, the exam is conducted at nine centers: Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Trivandrum.

GMAT 2022 Syllabus:-

On test day, you have three and a half hours to complete the four sections of the GMAT exam – Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative, and Verbal.

Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) Section - The Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) measures your ability to think critically and to communicate your ideas. During the AWA, you are asked to analyze the reasoning behind a given argument and write a critique of that argument.

Integrated Reasoning Section - The Integrated Reasoning section measures your ability to evaluate information presented in multiple formats from multiple sources.

Quantitative Section - The Quantitative section measures your ability to analyze data and draw conclusions using reasoning skills.

Verbal Section - The Verbal section measures your ability to read and understand written material, to evaluate arguments, and to correct written material to conform to standard written English.

GMAT is labeled among the toughest exams conducted in India. To crack the exam, one needs to do lot of hard work. But despite of striving a lot, even brilliant students get paused at tricky question. To avoid this, it is advisable that aspirants should try to attempt sample papers and previous years’ papers in order to find the loop hole during preparation.

The GMAT is available year-round and on demand, which offers test takers greater flexibility in scheduling. Available time slots change continuously based on capacity and ongoing registration. You will find out which times are available at your chosen test center when you register to take the exam.

You can take the GMAT once every 31 calendar days and no more than five times in a 12-month period.
