Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad started in 1998, has been consistently maintaining excellent academic results and placements. The college has the distinction of being the first and only college in UP to receive the Academic Excellence Award for the Best Engineering College in UPTU from H.E. the Governor of UP for two successive years. It offers B.Tech Courses in seven disciplines of Engineering and postgraduate course in M.Tech. It is accredited by NAAC and certified for ISO 9001-2008 by BSI, UK.

Admissions to I & II Yr. B.Tech are done through Combined State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) conducted by the UP State Technical University, AKTU, Lucknow.
 
The minimum qualification for B.Tech (Engg.) is intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
