Kashmir University is  UGC recognized public university situated on the western side of the Dal lake situated in the city of Srinagar. Awarded with a NAAC 'A' grade this university offers under-graduate and post graduate courses of study in faculties of applied science & technology, arts, biological science, commerce & management, dentistry, education,engineering, law, medicine, music & fine arts, oriental learning, physical & material sciences and social sciences.
