Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management popularly known as Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IITM Gwalior) or ABIITM is a deemed university and a recognized institute of national importance. Established in 1997 to foster higher education in information technology the institute was declared an institute of national importance and was provided the autonomy to choose its own courses and curriculum. IITM offers only postgraduate courses of study which include Master of Technology (M.Tech) course in various fields of study, Master of Business Administration (MBA),PhD and integrated B.Tech/M.Tech or B.Tech/MBA program. In addition to this, Management Development Programmes and Faculty Development Programmes are offered by this university. The institute's teaching and research programs focus on emerging technologies for providing high tech solutions. Industry-academic relationship is also a strong feature of ABIITM. Admissions:

Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Admission Procedure 2018-19:-

 
Admission to 5-year IPG Course - Candidates must pass JEE (Joint Entrance Examination - Mains) held tentatively in April.
 
Admissions to M.Tech course - Admission through CCMT based on GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score.
 
Admission to MBA Program - Admission based on CAT score, GD (group discussion), and interview.
 
Admission to Doctoral program - Admission to Ph. D program is based on aptitude test and subsequent counselling.
