Cochin University of Science and Technology

Cochin University of Science and Technology is among the best government-owned autonomous universities for science and technology in India. Situated in Kochi this university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) offers under-graduate, post-graduate and advanced research programs in faculties of applied science, technology, industry, commerce, management and social science. Apart from its main Thrikakara campus the university has a lakeside campus and one at Pulinkunnu in Kuttanad, Alappuzha. This university is structured into 9 faculties with 27 departments of study. The Unit for International Relations and Academic Admissions is  known for its academic linkage, training programmes and competitive examinations. Admission to under-graduate and post-graduate courses at the university is done through CUSAT which is a national level entrance test. Departmental Admission Tests (DAT) are conducted for some post-graduate courses.
