Acharya Nagarjuna University Guntur is a major government varisty covering many colleges and institutes in the region. Affiliated to the University Grants Commission (UGC) the university is known for its graduate and post graduate courses of study in the faculties of arts & humanities, business & social sciences, engineering, science and technology. Along with its main campus in Guntur, the university maintains two more campuses one at Nuzvid and the other at Ongole. A total of 44 courses are available at these three locations.
