Vassar College New York infrastructure spread over 1000 pictresque acres from manicured lawns and formal gardens of the main campus to meadows and woodlands of Vassar Farm. There are 100 academic and residential buildings ranging in style from collegiate gothic to modern architecture which includes two national historic landmarks. The campus is fully wireless and wired (including residence halls). Computer clusters are located in the residence halls, library, the College Center, the Computer Center, and many academic buildings. The Art Center of Vassar college houses 8,000 paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, and photographs spanning the history of art from ancient Egypt to contemporary America. The libraries of the college has more than million print volumes with an ever increasing number of electronic resources and databases. Vassar farm is also an important feature of the campus.

More than 98 percent of students live on-campus and housing is guaranteed for all four years. There are almost 100 student-run organizations and clubs that are an active part of Vassar College New York student life and activities. About 1,650 campus events are conducted each year which includes guest lectures, shows by visiting artists & performers, workshops, athletics events and concerts. Vassar does not have fraternities or sororities. The Vassar Brewers compete in NCAA Division III varsity sports in the Liberty League. The Vassar Quidditch team, known as the Butterbeer Brewers, competes against other colleges in the sport from the "Harry Potter" novels.
