Undergraduate Degree Programmes:
How to apply?
To apply for full time undergraduate programs at the university candidates are required to do so through UCAS. UCAS manages application for all colleges and universities in the United Kingdom. UCAS process is common for both national and international students.
The University's Entry Requirements are expressed as 'Standard Academic Entry Requirements', and for some degree programmes, 'Minimum Academic Entry Requirements'.

The UCAS process requires applications to Medicine, Vet Medicine and Dentistry to be submitted by 15 October each year, and applications to all other degree programmes by 15 January each year. The University of Glasgow cannot accept any applications after these UCAS deadlines, nor can it accept changes to applications after these dates. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure the accuracy of application prior to submission, and requests from applicants to correct erroneous application content, change degree programme or change college of entry, will not be allowed after these UCAS deadlines. This policy is in place to ensure fairness and consistency to all applicants, and no exceptions will be made.
Deadlines for UCAS Application:-
October 15 : if including Dentistry, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine or applying to Oxford or Cambridge
January 15: all other UK/EU applicants
June 30 : international (non-EU) students.

University of Glasgow Infrastructure
University of Glasgow Infrastructure:-
University of Glasgow's infrastructure is spread over a number of different campuses. The main one is the Gilmorehill campus, in Hillhead. As well as this there is the Garscube Estate in Bearsden, housing the Veterinary School, Observatory, Ship model basin and much of the University's sports facilities, the Dental School in the city centre, the section of mental health and well being at Gartnavel Royal Hospital on Great Western Road, and the Crichton campus in Dumfries, operated jointly by the University of Glasgow, the University of the West of Scotland and the Open University. The University has also established joint departments with the Glasgow School of Art and in naval architecture with the University of Strathclyde.
The University Chapel was built in memory of the 755 sons of the university who lost their lives in the first world war. Daily services are held at the Chapel during term-time and seasonal events.
The University Library, situated on Hillhead Street opposite the Main Building, is one of the oldest and largest libraries in Europe. In addition to the main library, subject libraries also exist for Medicine, Chemistry, Dental Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Education, Law, and the faculty of Social Sciences. The Archives of the University of Glasgow house reposits from the university's foundation in 1451.
Crincton Campus Dumfries: This campus is operated jointly by the University of Glasgow, the University of the West of Scotland and the Open University. It offers a modular undergraduate curriculum, leading to one of a small number of liberal arts degrees, as well as providing the region's only access to postgraduate study.
As well as these teaching campuses the University has halls of residence in and around the North-West of the city, accommodating a total of approximately 3,500 students.

University of Glasgow Student Life and Activities:-
Unlike other universities in Scotland, University of Glasgow does not have a single student union. There exists a number of bodies that concern themselves with student representation, welfare and entertainment. In common with the other ancient universities of Scotland, students at Glasgow also elect a Rector. The Students' Representative Council is the legal representative body for students and is responsible for representing student interests to the management of the university and to local and national government for health and welfare issues.
The Glasgow University Union (GUU) and the Queen Margaret Union (QMU) form an important part of University of Glasgow Glasgow Student Life and Activities. There are largerly social and cultural institutions.
Sporting affairs at the University are regulated by the Glasgow University Sports Association (GUSA) which works closely with Sports and Recreation Service. There are a large number of varied clubs, including American Football, Basketball, Cycling, Football, Hockey, Netball, Martial Arts and Rowing, who regularly compete in BUCS competitions.
The university as mentioned has a number of clubs and organizations. One such noteworthy organization is the Mature Student's Association (MSA) that organizes social events and peer support for a wide range of subjects taught at the university.
There is an active student media scene at the University, part of, but editorially independent from, the SRC. There is a newspaper, the Glasgow University Guardian; Glasgow University Magazine; Glasgow University Student Television; and Subcity Radio
