Singapore University of Technology and Design Highlights:-
• Singapore University of Technology and Design Singapore is an autonomous institution developed in collaboration with Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
• At this university, design as a discipline cuts across the curriculum and is provided in a novel framework that includes research and educational programmes.
• SUTD undergraduate students are granted either a Bachelor of Engineering or a Bachelor of Science degrees with a major in either Architecture and Sustainable Design (ASD), Engineering Product Development (EPD), Engineering Systems Design (ESD) or Informations Systems and Technology Design (ISTD).
• SUTD also offers an MIT-SUTD Dual Masters' Degree Programme; a full-time programme leading to a degree from both MIT and SUTD. SUTD also offers Ph.D in each of it's four areas of focus (pillars).

Singapore University of Technology and Design Singapore Undergraduate Admission:-
Admission to Singapore University of Technology and Design is based on merit and competition. Applicants will be assesed on their
academic standing and other achievements vis-à -vis competition.
SUTD Application should consists of the following components:-
•Academic performance
•At least one teacher’s recommendation letter
•Co-curricular activities
•Any other supplemental evaluation and information
All shortlisted applicants will need to attend an interview with SUTD either in person or via Skype (for applicants who are overseas).
The above mentioned components are designed to help the university get to know you beyond your academic results. There are places in the application form where you need to mention what inspires you, what you are passionate about, what values you hold.
Students applying for SUTD-SMU Dual Degree Programme in Technology and Management should apply directly through the standard application process. You will need to indicate on your application form the intention to apply for DDP.
For students who have already applied and are offered a place in SUTD for AY 2015 or later, they may indicate their interest to apply for the SUTD-SMU DDP by writing to the SUTD Admissions Office. The short-listing and selection process will be managed jointly by SUTD and SMU.
Applicants with international qualification are required to apply with actual/final results and SAT 1 English.

MIT-SUTD Dual Masters' Programme - Application:-
Admission Requirements for MIT-SUTD Dual Masters' Programme - Application
Potential applicants to the MIT-SUTD Dual Masters' Programme should possess:
•A bachelor's degree in engineering or science, or equivalent.
•An appropriate GRE/GMAT score.
•GRE DI Code is 7398
•GMAT* code is PNB-GL-03 (SCM) or PNB-GL-80 (SDM)
* only applicable to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) and System Design and Management (SDM) programmes
•Proficiency in English.
•IELTS is required if English is not your medium of instruction in your undergraduate studies.
•A Statement of Interest
•You may state your experience, research interest and passion for the topic of study. Students are encouraged to describe how they can use the coursework learning at MIT and apply the knowledge in research at SUTD (3000 words).
•Please check the websites of the individual MIT programs for their specific admissions requirements.
A holistic selection process will be adopted. Other than academic achievements, candidates will also be assessed on their maturity, ambition and drive, work experience, English language skill, managerial progress, leadership potential, personal objectives and academic aptitude.
Application Process
Interested applicants to the MIT-SUTD Dual Masters' Programme must submit separate applications to MIT and SUTD.
Each university conducts its own admission process and separate letters of offer from the respective universities will be mailed to the successful candidates. Thus, an offer of place in one university does not automatically mean that the candidate has also been offered a place in the other.

The interim campus for Singapore University of Technology and Design is at Dover, Singapore. SUTD's permanent campus, is under construction in Changi near Changi Business Park and will be ready in 2015. SUTD's permanent campus (East Coast) on the eastern side of Singapore will be ready by 2014.

Singapore University of Technology and Design Student Life and Activities:-
The interim campus for the Singapore University of Technology and Design, at Dover Road, strives to foster SUTD's innovative curriculum in the best possible manner. A series of faculty, academic, research and recreational spaces sorround the campus that is covered by walkways.
Student Housing:- SUTD’s student housing, named 6° by the students, is part of the residential living programme designed for Freshmore students to foster collaboration and interaction among them. Residence is mandatory for all students in their first three terms (equivalent to one year).
6º of separation is an idea that everyone is six steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person on Earth. STUD student housing connects all students a family.
6° is derived from students’ interpretation of different aspects of life at SUTD: The four academic subjects per term, the Fifth Row (co-curricular activities) and their stay at 6°.
Located next to the university campus at Dover Drive, the student accommodation is just a 3-minute walk out of the campus gate, so students will have unparalled ease of access to campus facilities and resources.
The accommodation is re-adapted from a block of 4-room public housing flats, which can house nine students in each unit of three bedrooms; three students per bedroom.
