Kendriya Vidyalaya Raichur was started in the year 1999. The Vidyalaya has classes from I to XII (Single Section) with an enrolment of 480 with Science Streams at the +2 level.
The vidyalaya has maintained academic standards with 100% in CBSE Class XII and Class X Examination in the year of 2015-16.
The Vidyalaya participates in Games, Sports and other activities organized locally and also at Inter Kendriya Vidyalaya level by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
