Kendriya Vidyalaya, New Bongaigaon was started in the year 1987 to cater the educational needs of the employees of N. F. Railway as well as the other central and state government employees of the area, besides the local population. The school is affiliated with CBSE Board.

It is under the civil sector (Railway) with a student strength of about 1350 and staff strength of 57, with three sections each in classes from I to IX & XI and two sections in Class X & XII. At the +2 level science & commerce stream with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Informatics Practices are offered as elective subjects.
 



Admissions:

Parents are requested to submit the duly completed application form along with all relevant documents on or before the stipulated date.

Admission starts in the month of February every year.
