Delhi Public School, Puram was founded in 1972 and is a co-educational day cum boarding school.  It is a private institution run by the Delhi Public School Society . It has curriculum and syllabus according to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board.It aims in spreading excellent services in field of education. 

Faculty :- The School faculty consists of competent and experienced professionals. It has 220 full time highly qualified teachers. Dr. D.R. Saini is the principal of the school. Mrs. Shobha Mehta is the vice principal of the school. Mr. Mukesh Kumar is the Supervisor while Ms. Vanita Sehgal and Mrs. Anita Singh is the Headmistress of the school.

Libraries - The school has two types of Libraries like Senior Library and Junior Library. The total number of books for both the libraries is 40000.

Laboratories - The school has 6 different computer laboratories Web Resource Centre, Robotics Laboratory, Mathematics Laboratory, Electronics Laboratory.

Auditorium - The school auditorium is equipped with the most modern and state-of the art audio visual facilities. It has a seating capacity of approximately 350.

Open Air Theatre - It is used for outdoor quizzes, club meetings etc. It is one of the grandest and most beautiful structures of Delhi Public School.

The School offers multiple facilities like:-

Sports Complex - The school provides sport facilities to the students and provide  physical training for each pupil.
