Here you will find AIIMS Admission 2022-23 Notification for MBBS, MD, MS and Ph.D. The Admissions for AIIMS 2022 will start in the month of April. For admission to the MBBS course at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, an entrance exam is conducted by the institute. There are total 7 AIIMS institutes active in India, the New Delhi being the main centre. The exam will be conducted in the end of May 2022. AIIMS Admission Process:

For the AIIMS Admission candidates need to follow a proper Admissions procedure that is laid down by the exam officials. The complete Admissions procedure has been explained below.

• All the eligible candidates need to apply for the Admissions to AIIMS. To fill the application form, candidates who have secured more than 60% marks in their qualifying examination of 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the compulsory subjects are eligible.
• Candidates need to fill the application form which will be released in the end of December 2018.
• An entrance exam will be conducted at the All-India level. Candidates need to appear for the entrance test.
• A cut-off score will be generated by the exam officials. The candidates crossing this cut-off score will be included in the result.
• A merit list will be prepared where candidates will be given AIR i.e. All India Ranks.
• Based on these ranks and seats available, candidates are called for the counselling rounds where document verification and seat allotment is done.
• Candidates finally need to pay the Admissions fee to confirm their seats in the institute.

AIIMS Admission Dates:

The AIIMS will release an information brochure which will include the complete schedule of the Admissions to the institute. The application form can be obtained from the assistant controller of exams from Ansari Nagar or from the SBI, New Delhi.

The registration is also done online where a user id and password is given to the candidate. Using this id, candidates can proceed to apply for the exam. The AIIMS Admissions 2022 is conducted for all the 6 active AIIMS centres. However, the same entrance test is considered for all the centres.

•Last date for online applications- First or second week of March
•Date of Entrance Exam for various courses (differs): between the last week of May to third week of June.
•Declaration of Result: First week of July

Courses offered by AIIMS

All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences conducts admission for the following courses .

MBBS

•Duration- 5.5 years (4.5 years of study and 1 year compulsory internship)
•Age- Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of seeking admission.
•Eligibility: Should have passed Class 12 in the 10+2 scheme/Senior School Certificate/ Intermediate science or an equivalent examination with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
•Aggregate: The minimum aggregate for general category candidates is 60 percent and for SC and ST candidates is 50 percent in English, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
•Selection: MBBS Entrance test conducted by AIIMS.
•Paper pattern: 200 objective type questions in Physics, Chemistry and Biology  and General knowledge.
•Duration of test: 3.5 hours (210 minutes).
•Syllabus: 12 class Intermediate Science Syllabus.
•Marking- Each correct response 1 mark and for each wrong response -1/3.

AIIMS MBBS Entrance

MD/MS/MDS and PG

•Duration- 2 years
•Eligibility: MBBS Degree. BDS degree in case of MDS from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India.
•Experience: 12 months of rotating internship and practical training.
•Aggregate: 55 percent in case of MBBS or BDS and 50 percent for MBBS and BDS in case of SC/ST candidates.
•Selection:AIIMS PG Entrance Test
•MDS Paper pattern: 90 objective type questions
•Duration: 1.5 hours (90 minutes)
•Syllabus: BDS
•Marking for MDS: Each correct response 1 mark and for each wrong response -1/3
•MD/MS paper pattern: 200 objective questions.
•Duration:3 hours (180 minutes)
•Marking for MD/MS: Each correct response 1 mark and for each wrong response -1/3
•Syllabus: Based on MBBS course

AIIMS PG Entrance

M.Sc Nursing

•Branches: Cardiological/CTVS Nursing, Oncological Nursing,Neurosciences Nursing,Nephrological Nursing,Critical Care Nursing, Pediatric Nursing,Psychiatric Nursing.
•Duration- 2 years
•Eligibility: B.Sc (Hons) Nursing/B.Sc Nursing (PC) from a recognized university.
•Registered as a nurse or midwife with Nursing Council of India or any State Nurses Registration Council.
•Aggregate: 60 % marks for general category candidates and 55 % for SC/ST candidates
•Paper pattern- 90 Multiple choice Questions.
•Selection- Entrance Test
•Total Marks: 90
•Duration- 1.3 hours (90 minutes)
•Marking- Each correct response 1 mark and for each wrong response -1/3
•Syllabus- B. Sc  Nursing syllabus

AIIMS Paramedical Entrance

PhD

•Eligibility: Master degree in Science or masters degree in allied sciences (Nursing, Medical Science,Surgery, Medicine).
•Aggregate: 55 percent aggregate.
•Selection- Entrance Test
•Total Marks- 80 marks
•Paper Pattern- 90 multiple choice questions
•Duration- 1.3 hours  (90 minutes)
•Marking- Each correct response 1 mark and for each wrong response -1/3


Application Procedure (Explained in steps)

•Application forms can be filled and submitted either online or offline.
•An application fee also needs to be paid to complete application procedure.
•Admit cards would be made available to candidates who successfully complete admission procedure.
•This is followed by entrance test.
• Candidates who clear the entrance test will be named in merit list.
•Successful candidates are required to send attested copies of mark sheets and certificates to the board.
•This is  followed by Medical test for which candidates are to report with certificates to the board.

For foreign students :-

•Foreign candidates nominated by the Government are required to have a minimum of 50 percent marks in the subjects of physics, Chemistry, Biology, Math in order to be eligible for courses.
•Foreign students are not required to appear for the entrance test.
•There are not required to fill in application form.
•However, applications need to be sent by the following candidates to the following addresses:
