Deepika English Medium School started its journey from the year 1976 and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Managed by Deepika English Medium School Society, it is a higher secondary school offering education to more than 3000 students. It was started by the ladies of DeepikaMohilaSanghati and has now reached a new height of academic excellence with the active support of Rourkela Steel Plant.
 


Admissions:
The academic session of the school is from April to March.
 
For Class I admision, notice is issued during November every year and Entrance test is held in the 1st week of December. Admissions are strictly done on merit basis.
 
For class II to X and XII, New Students are normally admitted in April every year subject to availability of seats.
 


Facilities:
The school lies in a sprawling campus which has spacious classrooms apart from activity rooms, Laboratories, Libraries, Audio Visual room and Indoor games rooms. The Laboratories are fully equipped and the Library has a good stock of books.
