Vinayaka Mission’s College of Pharmacy (VMCP) was founded in the year 1982 is the pioneer institution of the Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal (TKVTSS) Medical Educational and Charitable Trust.

The college that started with the Diploma in Pharmacy program now also offers B.Pharm (from 1993), M.Pharm (from 2003) in 5 specializations, Pharm.D, Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) (from 2009) and the Doctoral Program in Pharmacy (from 2004).

It plays a vital role in the field of Pharmacy education and caters to the needs of society by meeting the ever-increasing demand for pharmacists in India and abroad.  The college is a constituent college of Vinayaka Missions University, Salem and is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
 


Admissions:

Application for admission to a course should be made in the prescribed application form which is available along with the prospectus.

Candidates belonging to all categories except Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes for admission to the Pharmacy Course should have obtained not less than 50% marks on aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany/ Zoology) at the qualifying examinations (Academic Stream) after a period of 12 years of study.
 



Facilities:

The College has its own, independent, multi-storeyed, well-designed building located at the scenic foothills of Yercaud (a hill resort) with excellent infrastructural facilities including classrooms, laboratories, library and an auditorium. The departments are well-equipped with modern and sophisticated equipment.
