Tamil Nadu Government Dental College established in 1953 is listed among one of the top dental colleges in India. Affiliated to Madras University, it has been functioning with excellence to maintain the dignity and honor of the dental profession and imparting glorious knowledge to hundreds of dental students throughout Tamilnadu and across India.

Besides BDS and MDS courses, Dental Mechanic and Dental Hygienist courses and PhD are also offered by the government in the institution. The college has a tradition of laying emphasis on providing students with all the tools for learning and resources possible.
 


Admissions:

Admissions for the under graduate and post graduate courses of Dental sciences are made through the Selection Committee of Tamilnadu Government and on the basis of marks obtained in the All India Entrance Examination.



Facilities:

This College is the only one government institute equipped with modern infrastructure facilities. Labs, library, good campus, recreation and sports facilities are been provided to the students seeking education in this institute.
