St. Albert’s College was established in the year 1946. The college had a modest beginning in a hired accommodation in the old St. Albert’s high school building. There were only 150 students during the first year intermediate class. St. Albert’s College in Kochi is renowned for imparting quality education, either it is in Arts, Commerce or Science. All the courses are affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University.

St Alberts College, Kochi has 16 well-equipped laboratories with the latest instruments and equipments. There is instrumentation lab, medical microbiology lab, the wet laboratory with recirculation facilities for undertaking live rearing experiments on freshwater and seawater aquatic organisms, Animal House, anatomy labs, two museums and a botanical garden.
